Santorini

Had chance to email again. Am now in Santorini. Very hot, have horrible heat rash, but it's very beautiful here. Probably up there with Paros. :) Beach front stores are awesome, the sand here is "black" (well, poo-brown, but whatever.)

Time seems to be passing in a blur, Feels like we've been here for weeks already. I might go to the ancient Thira ruins tomorrow! Janine has bought her wedding dress over here... and shoes! It's very funky, in this peachy-pink colour. She'll look great... obviously not my kind of thing, being a traditionalist, wanting white etc etc... but it's just perfect for my sister.

Hotel here is awesome, with wonderful deep swimming pool, however very noisy outside. We've been in Santorini over the weekend so it's been quite busy... people stay out really late. The shops don't shut until midnight (which suits my mother and sister just fine! *grins*) However, when we've been trying to sleep it's been too noisy to do so...well, for my sister anyway. Me? I took an antihystamine for my horrible heat rash, so I was out for the count. lol Will probably do it again tonight!

Right. Back to shopping. Sigh.

I'm more looking forward to the ruins tomorrow...
